The books appeared in so many shapes, sizes and colors. They included paper jackets with simple fonts and leather binders with beautiful gold leaf titles. What era in history would he choose? What drama and adventure would he be privileged to join? What lessons would he be taught? The books knew this was the time. They all did their best to entice him. He slowly stood and walked over to the shelves, looking back and forth from title to title, from author to author, connecting with each one, trying to feel the choice. Finally, he reached out and pulled out a book……
