ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I have always enjoyed short stories, though these stories are more similar to novellas.

From Hawthorne to London to Lamour, short stories can be in the same genre or completely unrelated. They move more quickly than novels but often contain equally enticing and intriguing characters. The characters are what people remember most from a novel, we remember Ichabod Crane, Ebeneezer Scrooge, Atticus Finch, Hercule Poirot or even Sherlock Holmes.

Authors can work hard to describe a scene or develop a plot but it is the characters in a story that people connect with as we tend to see a little part of ourselves in these literary characters.

I have tried to remember that lesson when I created the characters in these “Untold Tales”.

I have been writing bits and pieces for most of my life and now have published my second novel. In my case, when I wish I had published a book when I was younger, I correct myself by remembering that it is because of my years of experience and trial and error in life itself I have been able to develop my ability to create these characters that feel like real people.
